Our Story

Like true foodies, our story began in a cozy family kitchen in the heart of Spanish Town, Jamaica. It was there, amidst the warmth of family and the aroma of simmering spices, that our passion for bold Caribbean flavors ignited.

But as fate would have it, our journey led us to the States, where the challenge of recreating our cherished family recipes became a daunting task amid uninspiring grocery aisles lacking the range and diversity of ingredients we had grown accustomed to. Our bright, bold, rhythmic, and vibey culture was missing in action.

Wanting to share our rich culinary heritage and bring real Caribbean flavors to kitchens everywhere, we started Ting A Ling. With our deep Caribbean roots, we uniquely understand what makes our food taste "wicked."

We believe the taste of the Caribbean should always remain true to its roots – authentic in every bite and of the highest quality. After all, there's truly nowhere better than "yaad."

OUR NAME

So… why the name Ting A Ling?

In Jamaica, “ting-a-ling” isn’t just a sound—it’s a feeling. The bell of a street vendor’s cart. A tease from a crush. A riddim from dancehall tunes. When it ting-a-ling, yuh know something good ah come—something full of life, energy, and vibes.

We wanted a name that felt like us: bold, proud, and unapologetically Caribbean. The kind of name that holds laughter in the kitchen, stories around Granny’s table, a box food on the roadside—or makes you want to buss a likkle whine.

Ting A Ling is our iconic culture, our unique flavor, our sweet memories—all in one ring.

Brap brap! ✨
